Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Field Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers across the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on coordinating medical treatment, attending physician visits, and facilitating safe return‑to‑work outcomes with a manageable caseload. The position requires an active California RN license with a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active California RN license required.
• CCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a smaller caseload of workers' compensation cases.
• Assess injured workers and coordinate medical treatment and rehabilitation services.
• Attend medical appointments and provide ongoing assessment of the injured worker's progress.
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, employers, adjusters, and insurance representatives.
• Coordinate modified-duty and return-to-work recommendations based on medical restrictions.
• Advocate for injured workers and help them understand treatment plans and physician recommendations.
• Prepare monthly reports, case documentation, billing, and required records.
• Maintain timely and professional communication throughout the life of each case.
