Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license active and unrestricted required.
• BSN preferred and ongoing learning encouraged.
• Certification or progress toward certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess medical necessity and reasonableness of proposed and ongoing treatment.
• Review patient status and history to determine work-related causality.
• Coordinate care with providers and claims handlers for timely return to work.
• Prepare clinical documentation and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Adhere to applicable nurse practice acts and case management standards.
