Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Network Technician to join our field operations team across the United States. You will install, maintain, and repair voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment, performing post-install tests and coordinating central office work.

You will operate in both indoor and outdoor environments and provide standby/on-call coverage. The role requires 2–3 years of telephony experience with an associate's degree, or 4+ years of related telephony experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical discipline with 2–3 years of technical/telephony experience.
• Or 4+ years of directly related telephony experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and telephony experience is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair network systems including voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment.
• Perform post-install tests for call processing functionality and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office/Network equipment, card/SFP insertions, and fiber cross-connects.
• Perform OTDR tests and interpret results.
• Provide safety training and follow safety standards.
• Report to the Network Infrastructure Local Manager.
• Work in inside and outside environments; provide standby/on-call coverage.
