Job summary

Wi-Fiber, Inc. seeks a field technician to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fixed wireless, Wi-Fi, and fiber-optic equipment at customer sites and tower locations across Arizona. The role requires travel to job sites, outdoor work, climbing ladders and towers, and documenting work orders.

You will collaborate with schedulers, engineers, and operations teams, communicate outages and service issues promptly, and participate in after-hours on-call shifts while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or comparable practical experience).
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record; ability to obtain CDL within six months of hire.
• Tower-climbing, fall-protection, aerial-lift, equipment-operation, and safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and network sites to install, repair, and troubleshoot fixed wireless, Wi-Fi, fiber-optic and related equipment.
• Mount and align antennas; run, terminate, and secure cable; verify signal quality and service performance.
• Configure or assist engineers with routers, switches, radios, UPS units, computers, and remote-management tools.
• Diagnose RF, cabling, power, and IP network issues; restore service or elevate complex conditions.
• Install and maintain equipment on rooftops, poles, towers, cabinets, and other elevated structures.
• Operate ladders, hand and power tools, aerial bucket trucks, lifts, and digger/boom equipment when trained and authorized.
• Complete accurate work orders, photographs, equipment locations, radio frequencies, test results, and customer concerns.
• Communicate outages, service disruptions, recurring complaints, safety hazards, and scheduling changes promptly.
• Participate in assigned after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
• Follow OSHA requirements, fall-protection practices, traffic rules, and company safety procedures.
