Job summary

Vyve Broadband is searching for a Broadband Professional/Expert to manage the maintenance and repair of their hybrid fiber coax network in Hendersonville, NC. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting network issues and ensuring compliance with regulations. A high school diploma and a minimum of six months’ experience in a similar role are required. Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience as Broadband Specialist (BBT III) or equivalent work experience.
• BT-IV certification or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of the hybrid fiber coax network.
• Troubleshoot and repair distribution problems.
• Communicate with departments during outage restoration.

Skills

Advanced understanding of IP networks

Moderate understanding of HFC networks and optical design

Ability to communicate in English

Ability to work independently

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Education

High school Diploma or equivalent work experience

Tools

Test equipment for HFC networks

Personal computer and software applications
