Job summary

Vyve Broadband is seeking a Broadband Network Technician in Cheyenne, WY to maintain and optimize the HFC infrastructure that powers internet and TV services. You’ll perform advanced troubleshooting, mentor junior techs, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and during on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of the hybrid fiber‑coax (HFC) network.
• Lead or mentor lower‑tier technicians on field best practices.

Skills

Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable

Proficiency with signal meters and spectrum analyzers

Strong understanding of HFC and IP networks

Experience reading and interpreting system maps

Education

BT IV certification or equivalent work experience
