Job summary

Fiber Network Services seeks an experienced Aerial Lineman to join our Hendersonville, NC team. You will work on HFC/broadband projects, climb poles with safety and coordination, and maintain overhead lines to specifications.

The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass drug and background checks, and willingness to be on-call for emergencies. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HFC design.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Able to lift 25 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Read HFC maps/prints to understand project scope.
• Climb poles using gaffs, ladder and bucket truck.
• Maintain safe coordination with crew and others on site.
• Enforce safety in Public Right-of-Way environments.
• Produce post-construction as-built mark-up maps, typically via red-lined PDFs.
• Provide daily production reports via email or Excel or similar.
• Maintain aerial specifications when placing overhead lines.
