Job summary

Vyve Broadband is seeking a Broadband Network Technician in Wyoming. This role involves optimizing and repairing the HFC infrastructure, crucial for internet and TV services. You'll lead junior technicians and ensure top performance of network systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and during on-call rotations.
• Comfortable working at heights on poles or ladders (up to 32 feet).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of the HFC network.
• Monitor and mitigate signal leakage; comply with FCC regulations.
• Lead or mentor lower-tier technicians on field best practices.

Skills

Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable

Proficiency with signal meters and spectrum analyzers

Strong understanding of HFC and IP networks

Experience reading and interpreting system maps

Education

BT IV certification or equivalent work experience
