Job summary

JND is seeking a Detail-oriented Field Test Engineer to join our Bellevue team. This role focuses on QA activities for LTE and 5G field protocol testing and SIM OTA activation testing.

You will develop and execute test strategies, validate UE functionality on 4G/5G air interface, and ensure compliance with QA and Carrier requirements. Expect 80% field work, travel up to 25%, and collaboration with engineering to optimize performance on live networks.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in a technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience in 3G/4G/5G preferred.
• Hands-on field testing experience in live networks is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive testing in mobile field environment (80% field, 20% office).
• Perform drive and stationary field tests across designated Washington regions.
• Capture, post-process, and analyze UE logs using industry tools.
• Aid in product and feature performance analysis and evaluation of new releases.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues from customer labs, field sites, and production networks.
• Provide optimization guidelines based on KPI trends and trials.
• Communicate test progress and issues to the engineering team and project lead.
• Travel up to 25% and maintain a valid driver's license.
