Zipline is seeking a Network Operations Field Support Engineer to join our Network Operations team in the Dallas area. You will support drone delivery and ground infrastructure, keeping networked sites online, managing outages, and ensuring mission availability across multiple sites.

The role requires hands‑on cabling, hardware work, real‑time incident response, and thorough documentation. Expect regular travel between regional sites and a fast‑paced, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on network support in production environments.
• Experience with site deployments, outages, and incident response.
• Familiarity with OSI layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing.

Responsibilities

• Own monitoring and incident response for site and regional network infrastructure.
• Triage and resolve Tier 1/2 issues across LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and wireless.
• Perform on-site cabling and hardware work on switches, routers, APs, servers, and patch panels.
• Lead outage playbooks during maintenance windows and coordinate cross-functional handoffs.
• Maintain observability with monitoring tools and simple automation to reduce MTTR.
• Travel 25–50% between regional sites.
