Job summary

Zipline seeks an on-site Network Operations Field Support Engineer to monitor and maintain ground network infrastructure and site connectivity across multiple launch sites. You will handle incident response, perform on-site cabling, and coordinate with Flight Ops, Field Ops, Safety, and Network Engineering to minimize downtime and keep critical deliveries on schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience in network support, NOC, or field network engineering for production or critical systems.
• Strong grounding in OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, WLAN, VPN, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Hands-on structured cabling and hardware skills to ANSI/TIA standards; able to work in racks and enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to site/network alerts; perform initial troubleshooting and restore service within SLA targets.
• Triages and resolves Tier 1/2 network issues across LAN/WAN/DNS/DHCP/VPN; validate fixes end-to-end.
• Perform on-site hardware tasks (cabling, mounting, testing) and maintain up-to-date documentation.
