Zipline is seeking a Network Operations Field Support Engineer to join the Network Operations team. The role involves hands‑on cabling, hardware work, and real‑time incident response across multiple drone delivery ground infrastructures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on network support or NOC experience in production environments.
• Fundamentals: OSI layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, wireless, VPNs.
• Experience with structured cabling to ANSI/TIA standards.
• Ability to own incidents, create runbooks, and document post-incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site and regional network infrastructure and respond to alerts within SLAs.
• Triage and resolve Tier 1/2 issues across LAN/WAN/DNS/DHCP and routing.
• Perform on-site cabling, rack, labeling, and testing of network devices.
• Lead outage playbooks during maintenance windows and coordinate cross‑functional handoffs.
• Maintain observability tools and implement simple automation to reduce MTTR.
• Travel regularly between regional sites (25–50%).
