Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Ranger Support coordinator for the Dallas metro area to lead a Field Support Technician team and oversee Zipping Points. You will manage site readiness, maintenance, inspections, and daily operations while delivering a world-class partner and customer experience.

The role requires 2+ years in field ops, leadership experience, technical aptitude, strong decision-making, and willingness to travel within the metro area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in field operations, service, maintenance, logistics, or related technical environment.
• Experience leading or managing teams with coaching and feedback.
• Technical or mechanical aptitude to support field systems and maintenance.
• Ability to make real-time decisions in a fast-changing field environment.
• Strong communication with technicians, internal teams and partners.
• Onsite work in the Dallas area with regular travel.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver's license.

• Own daily site readiness: equipment, inspections, maintenance, cleanliness, organization, Zipline standards.
• Build schedules and staffing to ensure consistent site coverage.
• Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate handoffs with Flight Operations and others.
• Track service levels and data to identify reliability gaps and improve site performance.
• Drive process improvements to raise maintenance completion and technician productivity.
• Maintain relationships with site partners and resolve daily operational issues.

About You And The Role

The Zipline Operations team is looking for a Ranger Support coordinator to lead and scale our field support operations across the Dallas metro area. In this role, you will manage a growing team of Field Support Technicians responsible for maintaining and supporting our Zipping Points—partner pickup locations where goods are loaded into Zipline aircraft and delivered to customers in minutes. You are a motivated and experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and is excited to roll up your sleeves. You will be responsible for ensuring our Zipping Points operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, while delivering a world-class experience to our partners and customers. This role combines hands‑on field leadership with operational ownership, team development, and continuous improvement. This is an onsite role. Candidates must reside in the greater Dallas area and be willing to travel throughout the metroplex as needed.

What You'll Do

• Lead a high-performing team of Field Support Technicians across multiple regions. Set your team up for success by fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Own daily site readiness, including equipment functionality, required inspections, preventive maintenance, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to Zipline operating standards.
• Build schedules and staffing plans that maintain consistent site coverage while balancing labor needs with changing operational demand.
• Troubleshoot field operational and technical issues, make real-time decisions, and coordinate clear handoffs with Flight Operations, Customer Operations, and internal teams.
• Track service levels and field performance data to identify reliability gaps, maintenance risks, and opportunities to improve site performance.
• Implement process improvements that increase preventive-maintenance completion, technician productivity, service reliability, and the experience of on-site partners.
• Maintain relationships with site partners, gather feedback, and resolve issues affecting daily site operations.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in field operations, service, maintenance, logistics, or a related technical environment.
• Experience leading or managing teams, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Technical or mechanical aptitude to understand and support field-based systems, equipment, inspections, and maintenance work.
• Sound judgment and comfort making real-time decisions in a fast-changing field environment.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-first approach when working with technicians, internal teams, and on-site partners.
• Ability to work onsite, reside in the greater Dallas area, and travel frequently throughout the metro area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
