Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Network Engineer to support the deployment, maintenance, and operation of our field network infrastructure. The role focuses on secure, reliable connectivity for mission-critical consumer technology solutions at Aramark field locations.

The Network Engineer will provide remote support and hands-on expertise in deployment and troubleshooting of network and network security solutions. Travel target is 25%; reporting to the Network Manager, Infrastructure Services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of information technology experience with a focus on network/infrastructure environments.
Experience in complex, distributed environments supporting POS or customer-facing tech is preferred.
Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, MCSE, or VMware are a plus.

Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Deployment & Support across field locations.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients as a SME for network infrastructure.
Support deployment and turn-up of Fortinet firewalls, Fortinet switches, and Cisco switching environments.
Perform remote configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and lifecycle initiatives.
Serve as Level 2 escalation resource for firewall monitoring and network incidents.
Troubleshoot and resolve outages with internal teams, client IT, and service providers.
Adhere to IT service management practices and document incidents/requests in ServiceNow.
