Job summary

Zentro is seeking a Network Deployment Technician, Level I to support our Field Operations team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on day-to-day build-out, installation, and maintenance of Residential and Commercial MDU services, including structured cabling, racks, and network connections.

Responsibilities include installing cables, mounting network equipment, testing copper cabling to certifications, and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license and be able to pass drug screening and background check.
• Ability to read, review, interpret and understand technical documents.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding fieldwork in varying weather.
• Demonstrated independent judgment within standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Construct network infrastructure to company standards under guidance of Lead Technician.
• Assemble, dress and install cables and racks in closets per specs.
• Install network wall jacks, plates, and pre-termination; label cables.
• Test copper cables and ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI/EIA/TIA).
• Maintain records of repairs and equipment installations for reference.
• Adhere to on-call schedule and schedule constraints; work varying shifts as needed.
