Job summary

Pace Transportation is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and emergency roadside service on commercial trailers at customer locations.

You will serve as a field representative, delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service while building strong customer relationships and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical or vocational training in trailer repair preferred.
• Experience with brakes, suspension, electrical diagnostics, and welding preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• DOT Annual Inspection or Brake certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on commercial trailers.
• Diagnose and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspension, wheel-end assemblies, doors, and liftgates.
• Complete DOT inspections and required documentation.
• Travel to customer locations for scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Maintain safety and professional conduct while in the field.
