Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in a mobile/field setting. You must provide your own hand tools and hold a valid CDL-B license; travel to various locations is required.

Work will involve diagnosing and repairing trucks, dozers, excavators and related systems, following safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL-B required.
• Must provide own hand tools adequate to perform job functions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and field repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance diagnostics and repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Carry out emergency road service calls as needed.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance on job sites.
• Coordinate parts and communicate repair estimates with management.
