Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Field/Mobile Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty construction equipment and fleet vehicles in the field. You will travel to job sites to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs that keep operations running safely and efficiently.

You will work with field crews and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime, leveraging strong mechanical troubleshooting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Steel or composite toe boots required.
• Proven experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, or mobile field mechanic.
• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty construction equipment and fleet vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and major mechanical repairs on construction equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment
• Replace faulty components and repair damaged equipment to minimize downtime
• Clean, lubricate, and service equipment, attachments, saws, blades, and vacuum systems
• Report equipment deficiencies and maintenance recommendations to management while collaborating with other mechanics as needed
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs
