Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Field/Mobile Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty construction equipment across multiple sites. You will travel to job sites and perform preventative maintenance to keep fleets running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose issues with testing equipment, replace components, and collaborate with other mechanics to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Steel or composite toe over-the-ankle boots required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty construction equipment and fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and major mechanical repairs on construction equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Replace faulty components and repair damaged equipment to minimize downtime.
• Clean, lubricate, and service equipment, attachments, saws, blades, and vacuum systems.
• Report equipment deficiencies and maintenance recommendations to management while collaborating with other mechanics as needed.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
