Job summary

Turner Mining Group in Texas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with diesel engine expertise to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems, and complete engine or component overhauls, welding as needed.

The role requires 3–5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel experience, a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 75+ lbs, and the capacity to work independently in

• Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems & welding.
• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Work On

• Haul Trucks
• Wheel Loaders
• Skid Steers
• Dozers & Motor Graders
• Pickups & other mobile equipment

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs
• Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics & electrical systems
• Repair brakes, bearings, axles, wiring, seals and other components
• Complete engine/component overhauls
• MIG/arc welding & torch cutting
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• Perform equipment safety inspections

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diesel troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical & welding
• Safety-focused and dependable
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Technical training is a plus!
