Job summary

AIXTRON Inc. is seeking experienced Field Process Engineers to qualify and sustain MO(CVD) systems at customer sites in the United States.

You will liaise with customers and internal teams to drive acceptance, optimization, and training while ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on process qualification, documentation, and ongoing support across R&D and high-volume manufacturing environments, with up to 75% travel and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BS, MS/ME, or Ph.D in Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical/Materials Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in (MO)CVD tech/process or related semiconductor processing is highly desirable.
• 5+ years in compound semiconductor materials or related characterization is a plus.
• Ability to write formal reports documenting field activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement MO(CVD) process recipes and parameters per customer specs.
• Provide process support at key customers.
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations at customer sites or labs.
• Describe equipment process performance specs for customer applications.
