Job summary

Halbert Brothers Inc. seeks a Foreman – Lead Precision Rigging and Industrial Equipment Installations to direct field-level installation and relocation of heavy assets. You will mentor crews and ensure safety and mechanical accuracy on complex projects.

Travel to regional sites, interpret blueprints, supervise crane and forklift operations, and coordinate logistics with project managers in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leading crews in millwright or rigging.
• Experience installing/removing/heavy machinery.
• Strong experience with precision alignment and leveling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel to regional projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor millwright and rigging crews.
• Coordinate daily logistics, manpower, and timelines.
• Execute precision rigging and alignment for high‑value equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide placement.
• Oversee safe operation of forklifts and rigging equipment per OSHA/DOT.
• Resolve on-site technical and logistical obstacles.
• Communicate project status with managers, dispatch, and clients.
