Job summary

Prime Industrial Services LLC is seeking a Foreman - Millwright to lead field crews in installing, aligning, and maintaining industrial machinery. You will coordinate daily activities, review plans with your team, and ensure safe, efficient completion of projects on schedule.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, proven leadership, and a commitment to safety, with travel and overtime as needed to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Millwright in industrial construction, maintenance, or equipment installation.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and industrial machinery.
• Experience with rigging, precision alignment, equipment setting, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise millwright crews in safe installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Coordinate daily activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, and work plans with crew before starting work.
• Perform alignments, bearing replacements, shaft alignments, repairs, and relocations.
• Oversee rigging and lifting operations with safety compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, JHAs, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure work complies with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
• Inspect work for accuracy and workmanship.
• Track labor hours, production quantities, equipment usage, and progress.
• Communicate progress, needs, delays, and issues to project management.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractors and support trades.
