Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Rigging Foreman to lead field crews across complex lifting, rigging, machinery moving and engineered transport projects in North America. You will own project execution from planning through completion, coordinating equipment and personnel with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

As a field leader, you will interact directly with customers and project stakeholders, drive daily planning discussions, and maintain thorough project documentation while ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and safe-work practices are required.
• 5+ years in rigging, machinery moving, crane operations, or related heavy industry work.
• Previous leadership, crew lead, superintendent, or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential for field leadership.
• Ability to manage daily field operations and coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews supporting heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, and specialized transportation projects.
• Direct daily field operations with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality execution.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Work with Project Managers to identify and resolve operational challenges impacting productivity or scheduling.
• Conduct inspections and ensure lifting, rigging, gantry, jacking, and machinery moving equipment operate safely.
