Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across multiple company locations in Pennsylvania. The role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, following blueprints and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, welding with MIG/TIG/ARC, and performing Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Welding experience in MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems per blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain large capacity washers/dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyors, and boilers.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures where appropriate.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance.
• Provide maintenance information to appropriate partners.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed across machinery.
