Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment across multiple locations in Pennsylvania. You will work with washers, boilers, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems while following safety and procedural guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of equipment repair experience, the ability to read blueprints in English, and basic welding skills (MIG/TIG/ARC). A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires basic technical training and/or military experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics in English.
• Experience with maintenance of industrial processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Equipment and Facility Maintenance: installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment and systems.
• Maintenance tasks in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Safety: maintains a safe and clean working environment; performs Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures where appropriate.
• General Duties: travel to multiple company locations; provide maintenance information to partners; perform welding and installation per specs.
