Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Field Metering Specialist to read electric meters along established routes, document conditions, and manage customer accounts. The role requires safety focus, independence, and outdoor work.

The position includes meter disconnects/reconnects, service verifications, and after-hours call-outs as needed. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a Fitness for Duty exam and Meter Reader Competency, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must pass a physical Fitness for Duty examination.
• Successfully pass the Meter Reader Competency Examination.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Connect/Disconnect accounts.
• Performs the same duties as Meter Reader as needed.
• Collection of Deferred payment arrangements with delinquent customers.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activity reports, collection reports, and delinquent accounts.
