Job summary

Shiel Sexton is seeking a Field MEP Manager to lead on-site coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection work across our construction projects. You will partner with the project leadership, site management, design professionals, trade partners, vendors and clients to ensure safe, compliant installation aligned with contract documents, schedule, budget and quality standards.

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with MEP field leadership.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and coordination documents.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily field activities for MEP trades, including subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop and maintain MEP schedules, look-ahead plans, and site logistics with project team.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify conflicts and schedule impacts.
• Monitor progress, verify work meets codes, standards, and contracts.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, start-up, and commissioning with partners.
