Job summary

Harris Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Quality Verifier to support asset inventory and facility condition assessment for municipal buildings in the New York City area. You will survey boilers, chillers, AHUs and related equipment, attach metal asset tags, photograph nameplates, and document locations for use in capital planning and maintenance systems.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently in field conditions, and reliable travel across NYC facilities.

Qualifications

• Comfort with Excel, tablets, smartphones, mobile data-collection apps and digital cameras.
• Ability to travel reliably to job sites across New York City by car or public transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a regular field-visit schedule.
• Ability to meet site-access requirements for government facilities, including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Survey major MEP equipment floor by floor and record nameplate data in a standardized template or app.
• Install asset tags with a unique ID and QR/bar code and verify scans match inventory records.
• Photograph assets showing nameplates, condition, and location; link photos to asset IDs.
• Check field data for completeness and reconcile with client asset lists and drawings.
