What You’ll Be Doing

Cardiovascular Utilization Management Reviewer (Interventional Cardiologist)

Use your interventional cardiology expertise in a non-clinical setting to review cases, ensure high-value care, and contribute to better health outcomes. Enjoy collaboration, continuous learning, and peer discussions in a flexible, remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert reviews for invasive/interventional cardiology cases, ensuring medical necessity and appropriate care.
• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with providers.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff on complex cases.
• Guide initial clinical reviewers and support decision-making.
• Document communications and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist in research and, if needed, serve as Medical Director for specific regions or plans.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS Degree with current, unrestricted license.
• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 5 years of cardiology practice preferred.
• Strong clinical, management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• No exclusions or sanctions by health programs or legal actions.

Technical Requirements

High-speed internet (>10 Mbps) and direct connection to home router required.
