What You’ll Be Doing

As a Field Medical Director, Cardiovascular Specialist, you will use your expertise in interventional cardiology to review cases, ensure high-value care, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support clinical decisions in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert reviews for invasive/interventional cardiology cases.
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with providers.
• Collaborate with leadership on complex cases.
• Guide initial clinical reviewers and support appeals.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and research activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS Degree with current, unrestricted license.
• Active Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of cardiology practice preferred.
• Strong clinical, management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with medical technology and documentation.
• No exclusions or sanctions by healthcare programs.
