Key Responsibilities

• Conduct expert reviews for cardiovascular cases, including procedures like cardiac catheterizations and implantable devices.
• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers to ensure appropriate care.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff on complex cases.
• Provide guidance and expertise to initial clinical reviewers.
• Document communications and participate in ongoing training.
• Support research activities and, if needed, serve as Medical Director for specific regions or health plans.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of cardiology practice preferred.
• Strong clinical, management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and telehealth technology.

Technical Requirements

High-speed internet (>10 Mbps) and direct connection capability are required at home.

Additional Information
