Job summary

Dane Street, LLC is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support field operations across California. You will help prepare for examinations, assist with day-of-workflow, and collect routine measurements under physician direction while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes in-person and remote evaluations, equipment management, and professional interaction with examinees and physicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant or healthcare support experience.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and respectful interaction with diverse individuals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with PHI.
• Neutral and professional stance in workers’ compensation environments.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use smartphone, computer, email, electronic forms for field operations.
• Ability to transport and manage examination supplies and equipment.
• Ability to meet the physical and travel requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned examination locations, preparing rooms and materials in advance.
• Maintain, transport, and store examination equipment and supplies.
• Complete travel, mileage, expense, and operational documentation accurately.
• Identify and communicate operational, scheduling, or safety concerns to stakeholders.
• Greet examinees, verify identity, and provide logistical instructions.
• Obtain routine measurements and assist with ROM and positioning as directed.
• Serve as a professional chaperone when requested or required.
• Maintain neutrality and accurate documentation during evaluations.
• Protect PHI and comply with privacy and security policies.
• Adapt to different physicians, locations, and patient needs while maintaining standards.
