Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–5 years Medicaid eligibility processing experience.
• 2–5 years Medicaid/compliance experience; SNF Medicaid experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations and billing processes; Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Area Agency on Aging knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Medicaid application process with timely submission and follow-up.
• Evaluate income and asset levels for admissions and residents to determine eligibility.
• Provide guidance when applicants are ineligible and suggest alternatives.
• Ensure standardized processes for initial applications, re-certifications, renewals, and tracking.
• Monitor status and follow up to avoid denials or payment delays.
• Collaborate with residents, families, county agencies, and business office teams.
