Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (Mechanical Technician II) to support safe, reliable operation of gas transmission facilities in the Town of Stony Point, NY. This field role performs inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on critical mechanical systems.

You will work with air systems, fuel and cooling systems, gas compression equipment, and prime movers, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of directly related training and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and compliance activities on station equipment and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and support air systems, air dryer systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, gas compression equipment, and prime movers.
• Recognize, respond to, and report abnormal operating conditions to help ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Follow SOPs, O&M manuals, and all applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to support operational goals and asset reliability.
• Assist with additional operational tasks, which may include equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, electrical controls, and other maintenance-related activities based on business needs.
