Job summary

Enbridge in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to maintain and repair pipeline systems and terminal equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation. Expect preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of pumps, valves, motors, seals, and instrumentation, and adherence to DOT regulations.

The role requires 1–2 years in industrial mechanical maintenance with a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

1-2 years in industrial mechanical maintenance.
Must live within 25 miles of reporting location.
Able to work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs on pipeline system and terminal equipment to minimize downtime and throughput loss.
Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical systems including pumps, valves, mixers, seals, motors, fans, loading arms and measurement equipment.
Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, company O&M procedures, and DOT regulations.
Develop and execute lock-out/tag-out procedures and open-system job plans to ensure safe maintenance practices.
Complete installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and components, ensuring optimal system performance, minimizing downtime, and adhering to safety and quality standards
Respond as a first responder during emergency situations and participate in required safety and technical training programs, including OQ certifications.
