Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to maintain critical pipeline systems, operating safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, and measurement equipment while responding to emergencies as needed.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years' industrial mechanical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 10-40 days per year are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Excellent trouble shooting ability.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective computer skills.
• Valid driver's license & good driving record.
• Must live 40 miles within reporting station.
• Pre-employment screening may include driving record, background check, medical assessment, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pipeline mechanical and terminal equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to emergencies as a first responder with safe lock-outs and plans.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
• Document work in EMAIT and support accurate drawings and as-built updates.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians and operation teams to plan activities.
• Assist with training, station upkeep, and coaching peers.
