Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician II to maintain pipeline systems and terminal equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot a range of equipment, and ensure compliance with DOT and company procedures while supporting safe, reliable energy delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years of industrial mechanical maintenance, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Expect 75% field work and 25% office tasks, with on-call duties and potential travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pipeline system and terminal equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems including pumps, valves, motors, and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures (DOT, O&M).
• Develop and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safe work plans.
• Document work using maintenance management systems and track equipment history.
• Coordinate with teammates to plan and execute maintenance efficiently.
• Respond to operational needs and participate in safety and training programs.
