Job summary

AAON in Tulsa, OK seeks a Technical Support Specialist I to deliver technical guidance and warranty assistance for equipment operating in the field. You will serve as a primary contact for customers, service providers, sales reps, and internal teams to diagnose issues and coordinate resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC or related technical environments, a high school diploma, and preferably an Associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or related technical environment required.
• Associate degree in Applied Science, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to customers, sales representatives, contractors, and service personnel regarding equipment operation, troubleshooting, and performance concerns.
• Diagnoses equipment issues by reviewing technical information and guiding field personnel through corrective actions.
• Evaluates warranty claims and repair requests to ensure compliance with company policies and warranty terms.
• Coordinates service activities and supports deployment of field resources to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintains positive customer relationships by responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring effective issue resolution.
• Travels to customer sites, when necessary, to provide technical support and assist with resolution of field service issues.
