Job summary

AAON in Tulsa, OK is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components to minimize downtime and ensure safe production.

You will read blueprints and manuals, utilize diagnostic tools, and help with installations, upgrades, and process improvements while following safety policies and documentation

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance or related field.
• Technical school training or certification preferred.
• Certifications (Lockout/Tagout, forklift, welding) preferred.
• Experience with CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist in diagnosing failures and implementing corrective actions.
• Install and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics; interpret manuals and diagrams.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders; support improvements.
• Assist with equipment installations, relocations and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
