Job summary

JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent for a site-based FIFO role. You will lead field supervision of mechanical construction, oversee equipment and process infrastructure installation, and maintain high safety, quality, and schedule standards on mine and process projects.

You will collaborate with engineering and project teams, ensure adherence to drawings and codes, and drive commissioning readiness while managing subcontractors and field crews.

Qualifications

• Maintaining safety, quality, and schedule discipline on site.
• Coordinating with project teams to resolve field issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical subcontractors during installation of equipment, pumps, tanks, and process infrastructure.
• Monitor progress and ensure milestones are met while maintaining safety and quality.
• Oversee QA/QC, inspections, testing, and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction managers, and planners to resolve field issues.
