Penhall Company seeks an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair a range of heavy construction equipment, small tools, and light vehicles. You will perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime, using MIG/TIG/ARC welding as needed on diesel and hydraulic systems.

Field service will be supported by a service truck. Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience and be comfortable reading technical manuals and maintaining detailed service records.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in construction equipment maintenance and repair.
• Technical training or certification in diesel, electrical, or hydraulic systems preferred.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and repair a variety of construction equipment, small tools, and light vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and service records for all equipment.
• Perform basic to advanced welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) as needed.
• Coordinate with outside shops for specialized repairs.
• Track warranty claims and assist in maintaining equipment files.
