Job summary

Amrize is seeking a skilled Mechanic to deploy across multiple active project environments to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles, commercial mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving equipment.

You will travel between temporary plant sites and delivery zones within the territory to perform regular fleet PMs and emergency field support, ensuring maximum uptime and safety compliance. The role requires outdoor work, long hours, and the ability to lift 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• 3 years of related mechanic experience or completion of heavy equipment diesel program.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions; may require long/unpredictable hours.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Provide regular fleet PMs and emergency field support.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance during maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Driver Lead and regional Maintenance Manager on issues.
• Maintain FMCSA logs, DOT inspection records, and maintenance sheets.
