Carroll Concrete, a CRH Company, is seeking a Field Mechanic in Newport/Lebanon, NH. You will drive a mechanics truck to job sites, repair and maintain heavy equipment, and work extended, occasionally erratic hours.

The role includes diagnosing issues, planning fixes, and performing preventative maintenance on diverse machinery. Salary starts at $28.50/hour with a $10.00/hour night shift differential, plus potential annual increases and comprehensive benefits.

Responsabilités

• Drive a mechanics truck to various job sites to repair machinery and equipment.
• Trouble shoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment such as reclaimers, milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, redimix trucks, trailers and road tractors.
• Plan work procedure and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts.
• Raise equipment with hydraulic jack, hoist or crane to access mechanical components underside of equipment.
• Remove units or pieces such as engines, transmissions, drums, pumps, hydraulic cylinders, seals, tires, brakes, suspension.
• Repair or replace parts such as drums, seals, buckets, hydraulic pumps, electric motors, wiring, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all brands and types of mobile equipment with proper disposal of waste.
• Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as industrial equipment.
