Job summary

Pape' Rents in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Rental Field Technician / Mechanic to service aerial and construction equipment in the field. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to maximize uptime and support customers' rental needs.

You will work from a fully loaded service vehicle, travel within the region, and interact with customers while applying your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Compensation is competitive with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field diagnosing and repairing aerial/construction equipment.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• As a Rental Field Technician, you will work on material handling and construction equipment in the field ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to maximize our equipment uptime and support our customers and their rental equipment needs.
