Job summary

Ernst Concrete in Troy, OH is seeking a skilled Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. You will use hand and power tools, hydraulic presses, welding gear, and engine diagnostic equipment to keep fleets and plant equipment safely operating.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid State-issued Driver’s License, Class A or B preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Operate and use hand and power tools, hydraulic presses, welders, and diagnostic equipment.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment with hoists and hand tools.
• Inspect and test completed work to ensure conformance to standards.
• Record maintenance data in fleet maintenance software and perform road calls as needed.
