Job summary

Ernst Concrete is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to diagnose, repair, and overhaul mobile equipment, both hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will perform skilled repairs using power tools, hydraulic presses, and welding equipment, and document work in the fleet software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid State Driver's License, Class A or B preferred.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Pre-employment background check, MVR, physical/DOT and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair and maintenance on mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose faults using engine diagnostic equipment and calibration devices.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Inspect, test and measure completed work to ensure conformance to standards.
• Record maintenance and repair information in fleet maintenance software.
• Conduct road calls for equipment, vehicles, or CMVs.
