Kinder Morgan is seeking a maintenance mechanic focused on compressors, pumps, fans, and related equipment. The role involves daily maintenance, assisting overhauls, and ensuring DEQ compliance.

You will keep records, respond to downtime, and support other areas as needed, while maintaining safety and vehicle upkeep. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience with gas-compressor systems, plant operations, and safe handling of flammable substances.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing, adjusting, and making minor repairs on gas compressor engines, plant, and associated equipment.
• General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, and processing plant operations.
• Working knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems.
• Valid state operating license and driving record meeting company insurability standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily and routine maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
• Assist during overhaul of compressors, engines, and pumps.
• Keep accurate and up to date records of all maintenance performed on equipment.
• Ensure equipment is always in good running order to stay in compliance with DEQ requirements.
• Report any equipment that is not in compliance to supervisor.
• Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
• Maintain, adjust, make minor repairs to, and operate equipment.
• Help develop a preventative maintenance program to identify potential failures before they occur.
• Minimize maintenance costs on equipment while maximizing runtime and throughput.
• Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork for all maintenance activities performed.
• Report all excessive downtime to appropriate people.
• Respond to after hour callouts and respond in a timely manner.
• Help in other areas of the business as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle appropriately.
• Follow company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
