Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Mechanic Specialist to repair and maintain mechanical and auxiliary equipment at Texas locations (Markham in Bay City or Damon). The role focuses on reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors, with supervision from a Crew Leader to ensure consistent maintenance practices.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, strong safety discipline, and the ability to complete detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units.
• Preferably experience with turbine engines, natural gas compressors, auxiliary engines.

Responsibilities

• Assess engine and compressor components and perform maintenance per company standards and original manufacturer specifications.
• Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete documentation and paperwork timely and accurately.
• Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
• Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence and maintain a high level of attendance and safety.
