Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and auxiliary systems at our facilities in Colorado and Wyoming.

You will perform heavy maintenance on reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors, document work, mentor teammates, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units.
• Preferable experience with turbine engines and natural gas compressors.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform heavy maintenance and replacement of reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors, including prime movers and auxiliary units.
• Mentor team mates on operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Follow company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
